Area:
 Rajaji National Park is spread over an area about 820.42 Sq kms.

Location:
Rajaji National Park is located in the western part of the state, in the shivaliks foothills of the Himalayas. Rajaji National Park & Motichur lie on the west bank of the Ganga and chilla to its last. Motichur is easily accessible from NH 58 but also connects haridwar to Rishikesh but there are not many chances of spotting animals here as the forests are dense.

Rajaji National Park is terrain approximately 75% hilly and 25% are of plains.

 Rajaji National Park is open to visitors from November to June. December to March is mostly the best time to visit because the weather is best at this time. Beyond April though it is never too hot.
