Fauna
The faunas found in Nagarhole National Park are Elephant, Jackal ,Tiger, Panther, Gaur, Muntjac, Sambar, Spotted deer, Elephant, Mongoose, Civet cat, Hyena
.
Nagarhole National Park also gives an opportunity to see some of the southern population of Gaur (jungle Bison).People really enjoy to see elephants in the luxuriant forests.Their total population in southern India is about 6500.Nagarhole National Park also have a wide range of birds.it has about 250 species of birds which range from blue-bearded bee-eater, scarlet minivet and Malabar whistling thrush to the more common ospreys, herons and ducks.
 
Among reptiles in Nagarhole National Park are King Cobra, Krait, Python, Viper, Tortoise, Monitor Lizard ,Toads etc

 Flora
Some of the major trees found in Nagarhole National Park are bamboo, teak, eucalyptus, sandal, silver oak, Rosewood and cassia. The grassy swamps cover much of the park and are locally called hadlus.
